Hockey boys.

by Tara MacDonald on May 14, 2013

I made the decision before the RT Convention in Kansas City to write a contemporary fishing village novel.

And, I loved it!  That was my Nanowrimo achievement.  Where you write a book in a month – November.  http://www.nanowrimo.org

So, now I’m writing short stories about hockey boys.  My version of hockey fever.

Hockey boys are perfect examples of men who travel and don’t want to be tied down.  Well, maybe in the commitment part of things anyway — who knows what goes on in the bedroom? 😉

Last Sunday, I sat down with author Julia Phillips Smith and author Taryn Blackthorne at Just US in Wolfville, N.S. and we wrote.

I’ve submitted one story already and this is the second one in the batch.

I’m looking forward to seeing how this short story zeal works out.

Yours in writing contemporary, Tara.
